Welcome to Climate Papa. This is the online home for the smörgåsbord of projects by me, Ben, a climate papa. I’m here to explore topics at the intersection of climate change, tech, and parenthood. I invest in startups via my fund, Stepchange.
Climate Papa is a home for the climate dads, climate papas, and climate papis. The climate abbas, the climate babas, and climate tatas. It’s also for the climate mamas, climate aunts and uncle, grandmas and grandpas, and all climate humans. It’s called Climate Papa as it relates to my identity as a father seeking to explore how to play my part in what’s ahead.
I’m here for folks sitting at the intersection of Emily Oster, Dr. Volts, Jason Jacobs, and Elad Gil. Maybe I’m the only one. Maybe there’s dozens of us!
Here’s what I’m currently working on:
- I invest in and advise climate tech startups via Stepchange. Particularly those with a strong software product.
- I’m learning through conversations with other folks—product people, parents, kids, and other humans. You can listen to them on Spotify, Apple, Substack, or wherever you listen to podcasts.
